Allegra Heath-Stout (she/her/hers) is a fundraiser, community organizer, and social justice educator. Allegra currently serves as Director of Development and Operations at San Francisco Senior and Disability Action, a grassroots organization dedicated to organizing and educating disabled people and older adults to create a more livable city. Previously, she launched new training programs for disabled Jewish organizers at JOIN for Justice: the Jewish Organizing Institute and Network, and organized low-income people with disabilities at Boston Center for Independent Living. Allegra’s experiences as both a disabled person and a sibling of disabled people lead to her passion for CAN’s mission and programs. Allegra lives in San Francisco with her partner and children. She enjoys lying on rocks, baking rainbow challah, and assuring people that yes, they are disabled enough.
